Oct. 7 • Benefit Dinner, to aid Mitchell Brown, a young East Brunswick father suffering from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, 6-9:30 p.m., at the Pines Manor, Edison. Hors d'oeuvres, three-course sit-down dinner, entertainment, silent auction. Cost is $50 per person. All proceeds go to the Brown family to help defray medical and personal expenses.
