Construction-toy event set at library

Youngsters ages 6-12 are invited to compete for prizes by designing an original structure out of Legos, Duplos or K'nex 10:30 a.m.-noon July 9 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center.

Participants, who will have 45 minutes to design and build the structure, must provide their own standard blocks. The project must be built from scratch; nothing may be preassembled, and kits are not allowed. Judges will award prizes.

Admission is free of charge. All are welcome to attend. Registration is required to participate. The event is sponsored by the East Brunswick Friends of the Library.
