Band to pay tribute to 'British Invasion'

East Brunswick Recreation and the East Brunswick Public Library will sponsor the Robert Murdock Band in a concert titled "The British Are Coming" at 7 p.m. June 27 at the Community Arts Center, Dunhams Corner and Cranbury roads, East Brunswick. Rain date is June 28. The band will pay musical tribute to the "British Invasion" of the 1960s, which included the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Herman's Hermits, Manfred Mann and others, and to the American response, which included bands such as The Byrds, The Mamas and the Papas and Simon and Garfunkel.
