POAC will offer workshop at library

Parents of Autistic Children (POAC) will present "The Power of Play: Social Skills for Children with Autism or Developmental Disabilities" at 7 p.m. July 13 at the South River Public Library, Appleby Avenue.

Terry Blackwell, a board-certified behavior analyst with the Verbal Behavior Institute and a presenter for POAC, will conduct a workshop for parents, caregivers and friends. The presentation will focus on determining age-appropriate social skills and how to incorporate skill instruction into a child's daily routine.
