Tickets on sale for solo 'Christmas Carol' The Villagers Theatre will present troubadour/ actor Michael Kroll in a one-man adaptation of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" at 8 p.m. Dec. 19 at the theater, 457 DeMott Lane, Somerset section of Franklin. The play was inspired by the tour Charles Dickens embarked upon, performing his classic holiday work in the United States during the late 1860s. In the Villagers' production, Kroll becomes narrator and storyteller and portrays the entire ensemble of Dickens' characters. Cost is $25 for orchestra seating and includes cider and holiday cookies after the show (served by Mr. Scrooge himself), a professional photograph of the ticketholder's entire party with Kroll, and entry into a raffle for a pair of tickets to any Villagers regular production this season.
