Golf-outing proceeds will aid rescue squads Volunteer rescue squads in nine New Jersey communities will receive proceeds from the fifth annual Chelsea Senior Living and Inglemoor Rehabilitation and Care Center Golf Outing set for Sept. 16 at Fiddler's Elbow Golf and Country Club, 81 Rattlesnake Bridge Road, Bedminster. Breakfast is scheduled for 7 a.m. Shotgun start will be at 8 a.m. Awards and lunch are planned for 1 p.m. Golfers or their companies will pay to play or may sponsor a banner, holes or tees. At the conclusion of the outing, checks will be presented to the volunteer rescue squads that serve Chelsea communities in Bridgewater, East Brunswick, Fanwood, Manalapan, Montville, Tinton Falls and Warren; Brentwood Assisted Living, Toms River section of Dover; and The Worthington, Brick. In past years squads have received up to $2,000 each. Chelsea Senior Living has designed the annual event as a thank you to the volunteer emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and first responders who serve their communities. Inglemoor is an acute-care nursing home and rehabilitation center in Livingston, also served by volunteer emergency medical service responders. Call 908-889-4200 for a registration form. |
