Ceremony will mark Chinese book donation

A book-donation ceremony to celebrate the Tzu Chi Buddhist organization's gift of 25 Chinese-language books to the world language section at the East Brunswick Public Library will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 17 at the library, Jean Walling Civic Center,

The donation ceremony will be followed by a classical music piano recital featuring East Brunswick students Kevin Cheng, Jessica Cheng, Steve Kuei and Brook Kuei.

Refreshments will be served. The event is free of charge. All are welcome to attend.

Tzu Chi Foundation is a nonprofit, volunteer based, spiritual and welfare organization dedicated to the fields of charity, medicine, education and environmental protection, as well as the promotion of humanistic values and community volunteerism.
