Youngsters invited to design at Lego-Mania

The East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center, will host a Lego-Mania Design Contest at 10:30 a.m. July 28. The event is open to children ages 6-12.

Youngsters, who will have 45 minutes to design and build an original Lego structure, must provide their own standard Legos or Duplos. The structure must be built from scratch; nothing may be preassembled, and kits are not allowed. Judges will award prizes.

Admission is free of charge. All are welcome to attend. Registration is required to participate.

Visitors are invited to take a look at 9- year-old Viraj Desai's intricate Lego creations featured in the main display case located in youth services department.

The event is sponsored by the East Brunswick Friends of the Library. For more information, call 732-390-6767 or log on to www.ebpl.org and click on News and Events.
