All have investment in good public education
This letter is in response to Frank DiBello's question as to why seniors have to pay school tax (Sentinel, Letters to the Editor, June 19).

The answer is simple. Society as a whole benefits from educating its children. It is every taxpayer's obligation to support education. As someone who no longer has a school-age child, I still vote in favor of the school budgets. My child benefited from the public education he received. Other children should benefit too.

Everyone living here has a stake in a good public education.
