Doubts Klemp's ability to be 'independent'
Donald Klemp announced that he would be running as an independent for mayor of East Brunswick this fall.H

ow in the world can he even think he could be a mayor, when for 12 years as a Township Council member he was a yesman for Mayor Bill Neary? He never had a thought of his own. If the mayor had ever said, "Jump," Klemp would have said, "How high?"

Everything Mayor Neary said was like God's word. It was embarrassing to see and hear. I have never heard a grown man whine like he does. What he really should do is grow up and get a life.

This could also have repercussions for the Democratic Party. With Klemp and David Stahl running against each other, it could give a big boost to Republican Christy Calvano. That wouldn't be a bad thing. That could actually put some new life into East Brunswick. That is exactly what we need.

Wake up and smell the coffee, people.
