Local woman to serve role in apartment association
Old Bridge resident Mariya Lomberg has been named project and administrative assistant for the New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA).

The Monroe Township-based group is a statewide organization of apartment owners, managers, builders and those involved in allied industries designed to advance and protect the welfare of the apartment industry in New Jersey.

"We are excited to have Mariya come on board," said NJAA Executive Director Ray Cantor. "She is well qualified to represent a fast-paced, growing association like the New Jersey Apartment Association."

Lomberg will be accountable for maintaining the membership database, serve as an information and communication manager to the board of trustees and Executive Board; plan and schedule meetings and appointments; organize and maintain paper and electronic files; and perform other administrative and clerical duties. Prior to joining NJAA, she worked for Acito Klein & Candiloros, P.C. as a legal assistant.

"The NJAA community has welcomed me with open arms. It is exciting to work with such talented and committed individuals," Lomberg said. "I see nothing but success ahead."

Lomberg has a Bachelor of Science and master's degree in science, and has worked as a teacher of biology, ecology and health. She also has an Associate of Applied Science degree in pharmacy and is attaining her Paralegal Certification at Middlesex County College, Edison.
