Shooting for the stars

JEFF GRANIT staff Gary Munzio, owner of the Starlab Planetarium, leads the way inside for second-graders at Monroe's Barclay Brook School March 19, when classes spent 40 minutes observing the galaxy and exploring different cultures, thanks to a grant from the Monroe Education Foundation. The "Shoot for the Stars" program is intended to instill active curiosity about astronomy and space, and inspire further study.
