Family grateful for community's support

To all our family, friends, and other concerned individuals who have extended help to Tommie Lukowski:

Tommie Lukowski and his family would like to thank all the family, friends and other concerned individuals who have been so generous with donations, time and efforts. You have been unbelievable with your good wishes and prayers. From little children, school children, teenagers to the elderly — we wish to acknowledge all of you who have been so understanding and willing to support Tommie in his fight against bone cancer.

He has had surgery to remove the tumor and reconstruction to replace his elbow and muscles. He has had chemotherapy for over a year. He has a way to go with physical therapy, but now he is cancer free. The community and its organizations, but mostly the goodness of the people, have amazed us all with the prayers and support for Tommie.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
