Milltown man gets drug charges MILLTOWN - A 22-year-old borough man was arrested last week on drug distribution charges following a police investigation. Joseph A. Primiano, of Blueberry Drive, was charged Dec. 12 with possession of cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, which is a first-degree offense. Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan and Milltown Police Chief Raymond Geipel said the charges are the result of an investigation into the possession and distribution of cocaine within the borough of Milltown. Primiano, who had been free on bail pending his sentencing on two prior narcotic offenses, faces eight years in state prison on the previous offenses, and an additional 10 to 20 years if found guilty on the new charges, according to the Prosecutor's Office. Officers from the Prosecutor's Office and the Milltown Police Department collaborated in the investigation, which culminated the execution of a search warrant and the seizure of approximately 13 ounces of cocaine, and $7,300 from Primiano's home, according to the Prosecutor's Office. Authorities said the cocaine had an estimated street value of approximately $22,000. Primiano is being held without bail on these latest charges. |
