Daisy Walk, Halloween Carnival coming to E.B.

The fifth annual Camp Daisy Walk in the Park and Halloween Carnival will begin at noon on Oct. 28 in Bicentennial Park, Hardenburg Lane, East Brunswick. The event, which is sponsored by the Daisy Association, will raise funds to support existing recreation programs and to develop new programs for people with special needs.

Walk registration and check-in will start at noon. Registration costs $25 per family, $10 per individual. Free drawstring backpacks, goodie bags and water will go to the first 250 youngsters to register.

The walk will begin at 1 p.m., following a path approximately 1-mile long, winding through Bicentennial Park.

The Halloween Carnival will feature food, clowns, face-painting, music, pumpkinpainting, a costume contest, game booths, a magician and balloon sculptor and trickor treating.

All proceeds will benefit the Daisy Association and the Daisy Recreation Programs for children and young people with special needs.

For more information, registration forms and sponsorship information, call (732) 390-6797 or log on to www.eastbrunswick.org.
