Kudos to town for preserving local history
The Monroe Township Historic Preservation Committee recently unveiled a plaque dedicating Dey Farm, the only working historic farm in Middlesex County.

I think it is important that we preserve our local history, and the fact our township is dedicated to keeping our heritage alive, both by thoughts and deeds, means a great deal. Dey Farm is a wonderful place to visit, and there are events planned at the site on a regular basis.

My gratitude goes out to Mayor Rich Pucci, his Township Council and administrative staff and the Historic Preservation Committee for making the preservation of Monroe's history a priority.

Edward Goldman
