Judy Marjorie Knoeckel

Ms. Knoeckel, 61, of Spotswood, formerly of Old Bridge and South River, died Sept. 22, 2007, at home. Prior to her retirement in 2002, she was employed for more than 20 years as a school-bus driver with the Old Bridge Township Board of Education. Surviving are a sister, Janice N. Knoeckel of Old Bridge, and several other family members. Private funeral services were under the direction of Spotswood Funeral Home.

Dorothy G. Fauser

Mrs. Fauser, 88, of Howell, died Sept. 27, 2007, in Madison Center, Matawan. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 1975. Surviving are two sons, Charles R. Fauser of Farmingdale and Ned B. Fauser of Westmore, Vt.; a daughter, Bonnie Gann of Monroe; a sister, Marion Corliss of Freehold; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held in Newport, Vt. Interment was in Lakeview Cemetery, Westmore, Vt. Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of local arrangements.

Selma Margaret Woolfson Greenfield

Mrs. Greenfield, 96, of the Somerset section of Franklin, died Sept. 30, 2007, in Central New Jersey Jewish Home for the Aged, Somerset. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley S. Greenfield, M.D. Surviving are two daughters, Dena Farber, and her husband, Carl, of Monroe and Miriam Cohen, and her husband, Jerry, of Hillsboro; two sons, Gerald Greenfield, and his wife, Susan, of Racine, Wis., and Bruce Greenfield of New York City; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Glendale, N.Y. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick.

William O. Repke

Mr. Repke, 88, of Monroe, died Oct. 3, 2007, in University Medical Center at Princeton. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy J. Wilcox Repke; three daughters, Gail R. Foust, and her husband, David L., of Macedonia, Ohio, Donna L. Repke of the Lawrenceville section of Lawrence and Lisa R. Curtain, and her husband, Tim, of North Brunswick; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A service was held at M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Monroe. Interment was in Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.

Henry "Hank" Litwinski

Mr. Litwinski, 81, of Monroe, died Sept. 24, 2007, at home. Prior to his retirement in 1984, he was employed as a welder at Hercules Inc., Parlin section of Sayreville, where he worked for 40 years. Surviving is his former wife, Florence Kuzdzal Szawaryn, with whom he lived. Services were held at Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville. Cremation was private.

John J. Servon

Mr. Servon, 89, of South River, died Oct. 3, 2007, in The Gardens at Monroe. Prior to his retirement in 1983, he was employed as a heavy-equipment operating engineer with C.J. Pardun and Sons, North Brunswick, where he worked for more than 40 years. His wife, Mae Servon, died in 1994. Surviving are four children, Ronald Servon, and his wife, Mary, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Christine Wladyko, and her husband, James, of Cape Coral, Fla., Leona Smith, and her husband, Chester, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and John N. Servon and his wife, June, of Monroe; a brother, Alfred Servon of Monroe; seven grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 140 Campus Drive, Edison, NJ 08837.

Walter Ogonowski Sr.

Mr. Ogonowski, 92, of Sayreville, died Oct. 3, 2007, at home. Prior to his retirement in 1982, he was the owner of Ogans Tavern, South Amboy. Prior to that, was employed for 20 years at Mack Motors, Edison. A son, Walter A. Ogonowski Jr., died in 1993. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Genus Ogonowski; two granddaughters, Carrie O'Hart, and her husband, Joseph, and Barbari Ogonowski; two greatgranddaughters; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Stella "Stacia" Budny Lis

Mrs. Lis, 98, of Sayreville, died Oct. 2, 2007, at home. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph S. Lis. Surviving are a son, Joseph, and his wife, Eleanor, of South River; a daughter, Dolores Dohn of Sayreville and Natalie Cyban, her husband, Edward, of Mission Viejo, Calif.; three sisters, Cecelia Klosek of East Brunswick, Pearl Majewski of Sayreville and Eleanor Vitello of South River; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Ralph R. Palo

Mr. Palo, 55, of East Brunswick, died Oct. 3, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. He was a patent attorney with Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Carol Lee Landon Palo of East Brunswick; and two daughters, Katherine and Jacqueline Palo, both of East Brunswick. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew's Church, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2600 Route 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.

Henry J. Sutter

Mr. Sutter, 82, of Sayreville, died Sept. 27, 2007, at home. Prior to his retirement in 1988, he worked as a research biochemical technician at Bristol-Myers Squibb, New Brunswick and Princeton. He was a secretary to the Sayreville Zoning Board of Adjustment and a Sayreville Democratic Committeeman. Surviving are his wife, Catherine Auer Sutter; a son, Henry J., and his wife, Maureen, of Manalapan; a daughter, Sheila Anne Volosin, and her husband, Donald, of El Segundo, Calif.; a sister, Mary Sutter Alexander of North Brunswick; a brother, Andrew of South Amboy; six grandsons and one granddaughter; four nieces and three nephews. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.

Mildred Malik McLaughlin

Mrs. McLaughlin, 83, of Milltown, died Sept. 18, 2007, in Franklin Care Center, Franklin Park. After the death of her husband, Roy McLaughlin, in 1985, she worked as a housekeeper at the Milltown Public Library. She also was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jennifer Chirico. Surviving are two daughters, Elsie Chirico, and her husband, Frank, and Dot DeAngelo, all of Milltown; three grandchildren, Frank Chirico Jr., and his wife, Lisa, of Ankeny, Iowa, Danielle Micale, and her husband, Randy, of Milltown and Robyn Barnes, and her husband, John; two great-grandsons; and her caregivers and friends, including Virginia Dudkin of Old Bridge and Shirley Warnsdorfer of Monroe. Services were held at United Methodist Church at Milltown. Entombment was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
