Cadettes to sponsor car washes, bake sales Monroe Township Girl Scout Cadette Troop No. 330 will hold car washes and bake sales from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 11 and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 9 at the Monroe Township Recreation Center, 120 Monmouth Road. All donations will be accepted. The sales will raise money for all Cadette events, including an upcoming trip to Washington, D.C. The Girl Scouts, who sponsor many activities for girls, also plan and fund many services for the community.
