Eagle Scout

Craig Evan Miller, 18, of East Brunswick, recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout after completing a community service project, one of many requirements needed to attain the rank. Miller, of Boy Scout Troop 220, enhanced the "Garden of Reading" at Warnsdorfer Elementary School, East Brunswick, by doubling the height of the eight railroad tie flower gardens, adding new topsoil and mulch, planting additional flowers, and raking and cleaning the area. He and other Scouts also planted flowers in front of the school and painted the school sign. Miller, who will attend Ramapo College this fall, received the Eagle rank during a ceremony at the Philo Lodge, Old Bridge Turnpike.
