The East Brunswick Rockets boys U13 soccer team took first place in the Burlington Township Memorial Tournament. Players are Andrew Au-Yeung, Zach Azria, Doug Bason, Mohit Bhatia, John Michael Bicho, Andrew Chimento, Brian Connolly, Rahul Guha, Timmy Khalil, Konnor Kish, Joe Mekaeil, Jamie Palmer, Rohan Rao, Stephen Ripp, Carlos Torrelio and Kevin Wood.

Central New Jersey Silver Bullets girls U11 fall soccer team, for girls born on or after Aug. 1, 1996, will hold tryouts on June 12 from 5:30 (registration) to 7:30 p.m. at East Brunswick Vo-Tech High School on Rues Lane. The field is located between the high school and the East Brunswick Mall.

The team is looking for dedicated, athletic girls who are committed to developing all aspects of their game. In addition to participating in MOSA MNJYSA, JAGS and MAPS, club teams also participate in numerous tournaments and state cup events each year. They have a very dedicated and warm group of girls. Players train with one of the most experienced and accomplished coaches/trainers in the central New Jersey area. Corrado Carbone brings more than 30 years of experience playing, coaching and training high-level soccer teams and individual players. Corrado played Division 1 college soccer and spent some time in Italy and holds a National C coaching license. Corrado has held coaching positions in the Pele, Franz Beckenbauer, Giorgio Chinaglia and New York Cosmos soccer camps. Speed agility and conditioning training provided by NYSC IGNITE program.

The Spotswood Soccer Club will sponsor a summer soccer camp. The camp will run from Monday, June 25, through Wednesday, June 27, (in case of rain, Thursday, June 28, will be the make-up date.) The location will be at the Spotswood High School soccer fields each evening 5-8 p.m.

The cost will be $40 per child. Included in the cost will be a camp T-shirt and trophy. Children currently attending kindergarten through the eighth grade are eligible to attend.
