March 22 & 23

+ Dining to Donate, sponsored by South River High School Class of 2007 Project Graduation, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., at Applebee's of Milltown, Ryders Crossing Shopping Center, Milltown Road and Ryders Lane. Diners who eat in or take out must present a Dining-to-Donate flier at the restaurant. Applebee's will donate 10 percent of supporters' bills to Project Graduation. + Bargain Book and Media Sale, sponsored by the East Brunswick Friends of the Library, 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. March 22-24, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 25, in the J.C. Penney court at Brunswick Square Mall, Route 18, East Brunswick. Gently used hardcover and paperback books, audiobooks, video games, computer software, collectors items, DVDs and CDs, all at discounted prices. The East Brunswick Library Puppeteers will offer free puppet shows for youngsters at 7 and 7:30 p.m. on March 22. Cash and checks only; credit cards not accepted. + Book Sale, sponsored by the Spotswood Public Library, during regular library hours, at the library, 548 Main St. Hardcover books, paperbacks, children's books, audiocassettes, VHS videos. Paperbacks sell for 50 cents each or three for $1, hardcovers for 75 cents and up, VHS videos for $1. "All-You-Can-Carry for $5" on April 3, 4, 5. All sales final. + Italian Night Buffet, sponsored by the East Brunswick Police Department, 5-9 p.m., in the cafeteria at East Brunswick High School, Cranbury Road. All-you-can-eat buffet dinner provided by Carrabba's Italian Grill; coffee provided by Starbucks; desserts by Via Dolce Cafe and Gelateria. Weinstein and Weinstein will sponsor a free raffle for a bicycle. Proceeds go to sponsor the Police Unity Tour benefit bicycle ride for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. Honorees: NBC-TV meterologist Chris Cimino, David B. Himelman, Central Jersey Oncology Center, the Hilton East Brunswick. Tickets cost $110 each for the black-tie-optional dinner-dance with open bar.
