Recreation department offering trips, programs

The Milltown Department of Recreation will offer a variety of upcoming events. All trips and programs are open to residents and nonresidents.

A visit to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus at Madison Square Garden, New York City, is set for March 31. Participants will attend the 3:15 p.m. show. Cost is $45 per ticket and includes bus transportation from Milltown Borough Hall.

Reservations are being taken to see "Grease" on Broadway in September. Pricing and seating are to be determined.

Seats are available for the 3 p.m. May 5 performance of "Jesus Christ Superstar" at the State Theatre, New Brunswick. Cost is $60 per ticket, orchestra seating. Participants must supply their own transportation.

"Fundamental 4's T-Ball," a basic program for 4-year-olds, will begin on May 5. Registration is going on through March 15. Cost is $25 for residents, $50 for nonresidents.

The recreation department is seeking adult women's softball teams for the 2007 season set to begin in April. Residents and nonresidents are welcome.
