The township of East Brunswick is accepting nominations for the 2007 Friends of Recreation, Parks and Community Services Award.

Created to recognize the efforts of individuals, organizations and corporations who have assisted the township's recreation, parks and community-service programs, the award is presented annually as part of the July Is Recreation and Parks Month campaign.

Nominees must be residents of East Brunswick and must have established a record of rendering outstanding services as a volunteer supportive of recreation, parks and community services in the community. Organizations or corporations may or may not be located in East Brunswick but must have benefited East Brunswick in recreation, parks and community-services endeavors.

Criteria and nomination forms are available at the Division of Recreation, 350 Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick, at the mayor's office, Jean Walling Civic Center, or online at www.eastbrunswick.org. Deadline for submission of nominations is April 2.
