Monroe Recreation's winter track program begins on Jan. 22. Participants must register at the Community Center before the program begins. It will be held at the Brookside School from Jan. 22-March 26, and at Monroe High School from April 16-June 11. The program runs from 6:45-8 p.m., and the fee is $10 for Monroe residents and $20 for nonresidents (make checks payable to Monroe Recreation). Class dates are Jan. 22 and 29, Feb. 5, 12 and 26, March 5, 12, 19 and 26, April 16, 23 and 30, May 7, 14 and 21, and June 4 and 11. For more information, call Steve Roman at (732) 521-5027.

The Monroe Township Soccer Club (MTSC) will be holding in-person registration at the Recreation Center, 120 Monmouth Road, on the following dates: Saturday, Jan. 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Tuesday, Jan. 23, from 7-9 p.m.; Wednesday, Jan. 31, from 7-9 p.m.; and Saturday, Feb. 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The ABA Soccer indoor soccer league in East Brunswick is holding registrations for children from 6-17 years old. You can register as a team or individually. The games are one hour in length every Saturday. The cost of registration is $110 for eight games guaranteed and referee fees included. Blackhawk's Lacrosse Club Open registration for grades two through eight to be held at Hammarskjöld Middle School on Wednesday, Jan. 17, from 6:30-9 p.m. Registration fee for East Brunswick residents is $150 (nonresidents $160). Equipment sales will be available that night for returning players and new players. In addition, there will be an equipment swap and/or used equipment sales (you are responsible for your own sales).
