Philomusica Choir auditions begin Jan. 8

Philomusica Choir, East Brunswick, is seeking singers with good reading skills for its May 19 and 20 concerts, “Rising Stars of 1707: Early Masterpieces of Bach and Händel, J.S. Bach.” The concerts will feature “Christ lag in Todesbanden,” “Sei Lob Und Preis mit Ehren,” and “Dixit Dominus” with orchestra. Open rehearsal auditions will be Jan. 8, 15 and 22 from 7:30-9 p.m. or by appointment at the Unitarian Society, 176 Tices Lane, East Brunswick.
