Web site strives to offer environmental info Recently the East Brunswick Environmen-tal Commission Web site, www.njnaturenotes.com, received the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions (ANJEC) 2006 Environmental Achievement Award. We proudly add this to previously received awards for (among other things) our Salamander Crossing Project and the Butterfly Park. We are so pleased to be able to help residents throughout the region to learn about and participate in important environmental work and education. This Web site has been the stage on which we can let you know about important events and the latest developments in nature, science and the environment. Such education and awareness helps develop a deeper appreciation of the world around us and a stronger desire to protect it.
