Nov. 2

+ Pasta Dinner, sponsored by the Spotswood High School Touchdown Club, to benefit the Charger Star program, 5:30-7:30 p.m., in the cafetorium at the high school, Summerhill Road. Seatings: 5:30, 6, 6:30, 7, 7:30 p.m. Three Charger Star families receive all proceeds from the event. Cost is $10 for adults, $7 for students, $4 for children under age 12. Nov. 4

+ Craft Fair, sponsored by the East Brunswick Senior Center, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the senior center, Jean Walling Civic Center Drive. Holiday gifts and decorations; handmade quilted articles; knitted and crocheted baby items, afghans, etc.; homemade baked goods. (732) 390-6896.

+ Auction, sponsored by Trinity United Methodist Church, 4 p.m., at the church, 70 Manalapan Road, Spotswood. Gift baskets, new items, holiday gifts, crafts, baby items, collectibles, more. + Concert, featuring artists Spook Handy, Melvin McKnight, Virago, Jeff Mastroberti, Jung Wombats!, Bill Simmons, Bitter Herb and Tommy Anton, to benefit Daniel Cunnius, a 48-year-old developmentally disabled man whose deficits make it difficult for him to function without assistance, 5-10 p.m., at Hummers Nite Club, 51 Main St., South River. Admission is $15; includes four prize-table tickets, door-prize entry, dessert, coffee. Additional raffle tickets available. Participants may bring their own food. Must be age 18 or older to attend.
