Milltown PD benefits from Legion donations

At its annual picnic Sept. 16, the American Legion, Joyce Kilmer Post No. 25, Milltown, contributed a number of items to the borough's Police Department. The post donated two oxygen units, two hand-held metal detectors, two Intoxilyzer SD-5 fuel cell instruments, four accident measuring wheels and a 35-millimeter camera.

Representing the American Legion post were Post Commander Ronald Dixon, past Commander Richard Craparotta and Post Adjutant Skip Davison. Mayor Gloria Bradford and Police Chief Raymond E. Geipel Jr. accepted the items on behalf of the borough. Also present were Councilman Michael Skarzynski and police Sgt. Clifford Kumpf, as well as Legion members and friends.
