Mary Tornese Errico Roselli

Mrs. Roselli, 94, of South River, died Sept. 10 in Madison Center, Old Bridge. Her first husband, Joseph A. Errico, died in 1952; a stepson, Joe Errico, died in 2001; her second husband, Charles Roselli, died in 1975; a stepson, Cosmo Rafano, died in 1998; and a stepdaughter, Marge Kalicki, died in 2002. Surviving are two sons, Eugene Errico of Schenectady, N.Y., and Robert Errico of South River; four grandchildren, Eugene Errico Jr. of Schenectady, Bonnie Myers of Pattersonville, N.Y., Lisa Miller of Spotswood and Joseph Errico of South River; a stepson, Fred Roselli of South River; and five stepdaughters, Mary Fehrle, Lillian Hoffman-Kuntne, Kaye Bongiovi and Sue Dill, all of South River, and Helen Infusino of Monroe; and 11 great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Corpus Christi Church, 100 James St., South River, NJ 08882.

Steven P. Malaspina

Mr. Malaspina, 49, of Sayreville, died Aug. 31 in South Amboy. He was employed by Carpenters Local No. 1006, Milltown. Surviving are his parents, Paul and Dorothy Jung Malaspina of the Toms River section of Dover; three brothers, John of South Amboy, Roy of Spotswood and Richard of Winooski, Vt.; six sisters, Loretta Liyana of Hendersonville, Tenn., Virginia Wells and Victoria Malaspina, both of Toms River, Susan Ferro of Jackson, Barbara Pritchard of Milltown and Janet Barlotta of Monroe; and 21 nieces and nephews. A Mass was offered at St. Mary's Church, South Amboy. Arrangements were under the direction of Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy.

Craig Alan Mueller

Mr. Mueller, 40, of Highland Park, died Sept. 14 at home. Born in New Brunswick, he resided in Milltown, prior to moving to Highland Park more than five years ago. He enjoyed music and writing poetry. He is survived by his parents, Fred and Jackie Russo Mueller of Milltown; a brother, Jeff Mueller of North Brunswick; a sister, Kelly Moro of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; his maternal grandmother, Sylvia Betza of West Virginia; and two nephews. A funeral liturgy was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Milltown. Entombment was at Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick. Arrangements were by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown. Memorial donations may be made to SERV Centers of New Jersey, 197 Route 18 south, Suite 306N, East Brunswick 08816.

Antoinette L. Piazza

Mrs. Piazza, 87, of Milltown, died Sept. 13 in Francis E. Parker Nursing Home, Piscataway. She was a former religious-education teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Surviving are her husband, Michael F. Piazza Sr.; a son, Michael Piazza Jr. and his wife, Diane, of Milltown; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy was offered at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Interment was in Saint Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes School, 233 N. Main St., Milltown, NJ 08850.

John Mackay

Mr. Mackay, 85, of Monroe, formerly of East Brunswick, died Sept. 14 in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. His wife, Edelweiss Lauxman Mackay, died in 2002, and a daughter, Cynthia Carson, died in April. Surviving are three sons, Barry Mackay and John Jr. Mackay Jr., both of Monroe; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Cremation followed. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Anthony P. Potkulski

Mr. Potkulski, 82, of East Brunswick, died Sept. 14 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1989, he was employed as an oiler with Delco Remy, North Brunswick, where he worked for 35 years. Surviving are his wife, Katherine Klacik Potkulski; three sons, William and Greg, both of East Brunswick, and Ronald of the New Egypt section of Plumsted; three sisters, Caroline Golembeski of Scranton, Pa., Marie Buranich of Clarks Summit, Pa., and Clara Allen of Las Vegas, Nev.; and six grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Holy Trinity and St. Joseph Polish National Catholic Church, Linden. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2600 Route 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.

Benjamin M. Tobias

Mr. Tobias, 88, of Sayreville, died Aug. 26 at home. Prior to his retirement in 1980, he was a plant operator with E.I. DuPont Photo Products Division, Parlin section of Sayreville, where he worked for 43 years. His wife, Sophie Servon Tobias, died in 2005. Surviving are three daughters, Patricia Williams of Elkton, Md., Virginia Izzo of Sayreville and Cynthia Tobias Hayden of South River; two brothers, Andrew Bodak of South River and Leon Bodak of Sayreville; and two grandsons. A Mass was offered at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sayreville. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick.

Nicholas P. Picurro

Mr. Picurro, 54, of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge, died Sept. 12 at home. He was predeceased by his father, Nicholas Picurro. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Hewitt Picurro; a son, Nicholas M. Picurro, and a daughter, Megan T. Picurro, both of Cliffwood Beach; two brothers, Daniel Picurro of Monroe and Tony Picurro of Old Bridge; a sister, Lynn Hunt of Old Bridge; and his mother, Susan Gustaferro Picurro of Old Bridge. A Mass was offered at St. Lawrence Church, Laurence Harbor. Cremation was private.

Paul Sternberger

Mr. Sternberger, 75, of East Brunswick, formerly of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Sept. 10 in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1993, he was a systems engineer with Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal, South Brunswick, where he worked for 29 years. Surviving are his wife, Judith Bernstein Sternberger; two daughters, Amy Kroeckel of East Brunswick and Rhonda Goroff of Solon, Ohio; a sister, Elsa Abraham of Albuquerque, N.M.; and seven grandchildren. Services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Interment was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Association, the National Kidney Foundation or the American Cancer Society.

Domenick Cuccio

Mr. Cuccio, 73, of Barnegat, died Aug. 25 at home. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had lived in North Edison and Marlboro before moving to Barnegat four years ago. Surviving are his wife, Amy (Rende); three sons and daughters-in-law, Sal and Marci Cuccio of Hillsborough, Anthony and Amy Cuccio of Milltown, and Domenick and Lisa Cuccio of Kenilworth; a daughter and son-in-law, Claudine and Ricky Falcone of the Fords section of Woodbridge; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Connie Gaglia and Anna Cuccio, both of New York, and Rosie and Freddie Gentile of Pennsylvania; a sister-in-law, Cookie Misiano of North Carolina; and four granddaughters and a grandson. Services were held at the Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick, followed by a Mass at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro. Entombment took place at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum, also Marlboro.
