Strange on for golf outing
MONROE - Curtis Strange has joined the lineup for the upcoming Sovereign Bank Charity Golf Classic.
The winner of 17 PGA Tour titles including back-to-back U.S. Open championships (1989, 1990) will share the spotlight with gallery favorite Fuzzy Zoeller, 2005 Champions Tour leading money-winner Dana Quigley and young LPGA stars Erica Blasberg and Jenna Daniels.
The Sept. 25-26 Charity Classic will feature two days of golf and entertainment in an effort to raise money for The Forsgate Foundation, a nonprofit that supports causes throughout New Jersey.

In the 1990s, he jumped from the golf course to the broadcast booth, where he worked as a golf commentator on ABC until 2004. In 2005, he joined the Champions Tour and recorded two, Top 10 performances in his rookie year.
