Rabbi Eliezer Zaklikovski of the Chabad Jewish Center in Monroe holds a shofar made from a ram's horn in preparation for Rosh Hashana, which begins at sundown Friday. Students in the center's new Hebrew school made the shofar on Sunday at the Gravel Hill Road synagogue.
