'Wallace and Grommit' next up for family night

East Brunswick's second Movie in the Park family night will feature a showing of "Wallace and Grommit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit" (rated G) at 8:45 p.m. on Aug. 1 around the East Brunswick municipal pond, Ryders Lane.

Bonky G-Bird the Clown and popular cartoon characters will be on hand beginning at 7:45 p.m. to entertain and distribute free glow necklaces and activity books to children. Rain location will be Churchill Junior High School, Norton Road.

The event is sponsored by the township of East Brunswick, Division of Recreation, and the East Brunswick Alliance for the Prevention of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.

Admission is free of charge. Participants should bring blankets or lawn chairs. Snacks will be available for purchase.
