Austen-inspired author coming to E.B. Library

Best-selling novelist Paula Marantz Cohen, who has carved out a literary niche with comical romances that draw on her love of classic literature, will inaugurate the East Brunswick Public Library's Meet the Author series at 8 p.m. on June 22 at the library, Jean Walling Civic Center.

Cohen, the author of "Jane Austen in Boca," "Much Ado About Jessie Kaplan" and "Jane Austen in Scarsdale, or Love, Death and the SATs," will autograph her books following the program.

Admission to the event is free of charge. The public is invited. Light refreshments will be served.

A professor of English at Drexel University, Philadelphia, Cohen, a New Jersey resident, also is the author of nonfiction books on literature and the family, silent films and American culture, and the movies of Alfred Hitchcock.
