Thinks Drozd should be choice in Spotswood

The Spotswood Borough Council elections are coming up on Tuesday, May 9. There are seven candidates running for three seats.

I think that one of those seats belongs to Marge Drozd. She is a lifelong resident who has been involved in our community. As coordinator of the P.L.A.Y. Committee, she led the effort to build the playground behind Appleby School. She is on the executive board of the Spotswood PTA and has served as a vice president of the Spotswood Youth Baseball Parents Auxiliary. In addition, she has served on the Spotswood Board of Education for three terms, and she started the Spotswood Education Foundation to generate funding for the schools from private sources. As a nurse she has served the community on the mobile health van.

Whatever Marge has been involved in has benefited from her enthusiasm, energy and ability to get the job done. She will bring these same qualities to the council and be an independent and important voice on issues that face us now and in the future.

Spotswood has a lot of choices for council in this election, and one of them should be Marge Drozd.
