     Nina Kaminski Volgyi Mrs. Volgyi, 81, of South River, died March 3 in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 1979, she was employed as a packager at Sunshine Biscuits, Sayreville, where she worked for 15 years. Her husband, George S. Volgyi, died in 2003

     Mark D. Gicherman, formerly of Monroe, recently was promoted to staff sergeant with the U.S. Army, active duty. He is stationed at Fort Drum, N.Y., as part of the 10th Mountain Division.
