Gerard Marciano

Mr. Marciano, 84, of Spotswood, died Feb. 7 in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine Horn Marciano; three sons, Gerard Marciano of Jackson, Mark Marciano of South River and Michael Marciano of Cranbury; two daughters, Claudia LeBedz of Lakewood and Virginia Korth of Orange Park, Fla.; a sister, Theresa D’Amato of Eatontown; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Sophie Tuckman

Mrs. Tuckman, 90, of Englishtown, formerly of Middletown, died Feb. 10 in Liberty Manor, Englishtown. Her husband, Jack, died in 2000. Surviving are two sons, Bruce Wayne Tuckman of Columbus, Ohio, and Harlan Dale Tuckman of Monroe; a brother, Mel Goldberg of Los Angeles; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services were held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan. Interment was in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Queens, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the senior citizens organization of one’s choice.

Gilbert J. Chabre

Mr. Chabre, 78, of South River, formerly of North Brunswick and the Somerset section of Franklin, died Feb. 10 in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Doris Shutowich Chabre; six children, Janice Rosario of Perth Amboy, Joseph Chabre of Somerset, Nanetta Lovell of Lake Mary, Fla., Noella Perry of Lakewood, and Stacy Chabre and Steven Chabre, both of South River; two brothers, Claude Chabre of Calais, Maine, and Pierre Chabre of Newport, Maine; three sisters, Joan Peterson of Zephyr Hills, Fla., Gertrude Perry of Limestone, Maine, and Loretta Lindow of Webster, Fla.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were held at Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River. Cremation was private.

Antoinette DeBartolo

Mrs. DeBartolo, 80, of Milltown, formerly of North Brunswick, died Feb. 8 in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Robert, died in 2003. Surviving are three sons, John F. of Neptune, Robert C. of Morristown and Thomas J. of the Toms River section of Dover; a sister, Lorraine Darwish of North Brunswick; a brother, James Pepitone of Edison; a brother-in-law, Joe DeBartolo of New Brunswick; and four grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Milltown. Interment was in Saint Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Doris M. Auth Reilly

Mrs. Reilly, 81, of Monroe, died Feb. 11 at home. Her husband, John B. Reilly, died in 1973, and a son, Brian M. Reilly, died in 1991. Surviving are three daughters, Maureen Seibel of Bayside, N.Y., Eileen Crosby of Monmouth Beach and Patricia Kramer of San Francisco; a niece, Suzann Langan of South Ozone Park, N.Y.; a brother, Albert “Brenton” Auth of Queens, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Memorial Fund, The University Medical Center at Princeton Foundation, 253 Witherspoon St., Princeton, NJ 08540-9914.

Vincent S. Lasko

Mr. Lasko, 30, of Sayreville, died Feb. 5 at home. He was the owner and operator of Vincent Lasko Home Improvements, Sayreville. Surviving are his fiancée, Kimberly Goodnight of Sayreville; a daughter, Jessalyn Lea Lasko of Sayreville; his father, Vincent P. Lasko, and stepmother, Susan, of Plumsted; his mother, Barbara Lasko of Sayreville; a sister, Tracy Lasko of Long Branch; a stepsister, Heather Rega of Jackson; his paternal grandmother, Mary Lasko of Sayreville; and his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Grekoski of Sayreville. Services were under the direction of Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville.

Richard J. Klige

Mr. Klige, 54, of Monroe, died Feb. 12 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. He was a machine operator at the U.S. Postal Service Kilmer facility, Edison, where he worked for 31 years, and was a pitcher with the North Brunswick Cubs Baseball Club. He was predeceased by his parents, Viola and John Klige. Surviving are his wife, Arleen Klockars Klige; two daughters, Kimberly and Heather, both at home; his mother-in-law, Helen Klockars of the Parlin section of Sayreville; and a sister, JoAnn Tarlecki of the Somerset section of Franklin. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin.

William A. Moglia

Mr. Moglia, 78, of the Toms River section of Dover, formerly of South Amboy, died Feb. 6 in Community Medical Center, Toms River. A grandson, Timothy Moglia, died in 1994. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Shotto Moglia; four sons, William of Barnegat, Robert of South Amboy and James and Joseph, both of Toms River; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in Christ Church Cemetery, South Amboy.

Edward Pierre

Mr. Pierre, 77, of Spotswood, died Jan. 31 at home. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a purchasing manager with Charles Komar and Sons, South Amboy. A son, Jeffrey Pierre, died in 1978. Surviving are his wife, Beatrice Bastian Pierre; a daughter, Treveryan Silva of East Windsor; a son, Paul Pierre of the Toms River section of Dover; a sister, Mildred Kirk of New York; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.

Stella C. Jamroz Robak

Mrs. Robak, of Spotswood, died Jan. 29 in Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge. Her husband, William Robak, died in 1995. Surviving are two sons, Thomas of Bradenton Beach, Fla., and Walter of Massachusetts; two daughters, Theresa Meade of Spotswood and Bernadette Schetler of Yardley, Pa.; and seven grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Charlotte Balajthy Sutter

Mrs. Sutter, 79, of South River, died Jan. 31 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the accounting department at Johnson & Johnson, New Brunswick. Her husband, Charles W. Sutter Sr., died in 1994. Surviving are a daughter, Diane Sutter Cowin of Ashland, Ore.; a son, Charles W. Sutter Jr. of South River; an aunt, Aurelia Schulmeister of the Cheesequake section of Old Bridge; a granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, including Adele Wright. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Parlin section of Sayreville.

Charlotte Sorensen Wapshare

Mrs. Wapshare, 77, of Old Bridge, died Feb. 8 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Her husband, Walter Wapshare, died in 1994. Surviving are a son, Walter Wapshare of Old Bridge, and his companion, Milana Lortz of Monroe; three daughters, Nancy Bronsky of Monroe, Patricia Miller of Howell and Charlotte Donohue of Jamesburg; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.

Evelyn Liljeros Williams

Mrs. Williams, 93, of Monroe, died Feb. 2 at home. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Williams. Surviving are two daughters, Betty Lee Reagan of the Parlin section of Sayreville and Charlene Stanley of Maine; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Gundrum Service Home for Funerals, South Amboy.
