Sept. 17 • Giant Yard Sale, sponsored by The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of East Brunswick, to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina, 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the parking lot at St. Bartholomew’s Church, 460 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick. Proceeds will be sent to the society’s national office in St. Louis and will be distributed to areas around the country to which hurricane victims have been relocated.
