Obituaries George W. Schultz Mr. Schultz, 76, of East Brunswick, died July 13 at home. Prior to his retirement, he was employed in shipping at Conlux Coating and Paint Co., Edison. Surviving are his wife, Sophie Milek Schultz; six children, Joyce York of Brick, Donna Moore of South River, Mark Schultz of Oceanside, Calif., Darlene Schultz of Milltown, Shawn Schultz of Fallbrook, Calif., and Duane Schultz of East Brunswick; a brother, Bob of Beach Haven West; three sisters, Susan Jones of North Brunswick, Joan Tingle of Highland Park and Annette Berrue of Edison; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Cremation was private.
Louise Mirando Nastri Mrs. Nastri, 88, of Monroe, died July 13 at home. Her husband, Peter Nastri, died in 2003. Surviving are a son, Peter Nastri of East Brunswick; a daughter, Mildred Marrillo of the Whiting section of Manchester; two sisters, Margaret Iannuzzi and Antoinette Vallone, both of the Bronx, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Nativity of Our Lord Church, Monroe. Entombment was in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
Helen Iszcak Dohora Mrs. Dohora, 78, of South River, died July 17 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Her husband, Alexander, died in 2004. Surviving are a son, Christopher of Old Bridge; three sisters in Belgium; a granddaughter, Diane Quinn, and a grandson, Steven Dohora; and two great-granddaughters. Visitation is set for 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on July 21 at Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River. A service is planned for 10 a.m. on July 22 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River. Mary M. Jorn Mrs. Jorn, 79, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died July 14 in JFK Medical Center, Edison. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a sales clerk with Kmart, East Brunswick. Before that, she worked at Montgomery Ward, Edison. She was predeceased by her husband, William Jorn, and by a daughter, Joanne Halpin. Surviving are a son, Arthur Jorn of Edison; a sister, Barbara Bucci of Florida; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a niece and a nephew. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Interment was in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
Helen Bazydlo Misyak Mrs. Misyak, 89, of East Brunswick, died July 11 at home. Her husband, George Misyak, died in 1999. Surviving are five sons, Joseph Misyak of the Toms River section of Dover, George Misyak of Mine Hill, John Misyak of Manalapan, Michael Misyak of East Brunswick and Stephen Misyak of Hoboken; five daughters, Mary Ann Misyak of Freehold, Sister Teresa of the Sisters of St. Francis, Bethlehem, Pa., Helen Verdon of Elizabeth, Veronica Finch of Kearny and Lillian Testa of Spotswood; a brother, Walter Bazydlo of Nebraska; two sisters, Lillian Novella of the Brick Town section of Brick and Monica Gallagher of Howell; 21 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
Dorothy Piano Szabo Mrs. Szabo, 76, of Old Bridge, died July 12 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was a former special police officer in Old Bridge. Her husband, Anthony Piano, died in 1968. Surviving are two daughters, Toni DiDonato of Spotswood and Donna Schottlander of the Morganville section of Marlboro; two sisters, Margaret Olenik of Linden and Joan Miller of North Carolina; and five grandchildren. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in Fernwood Cemetery, Monroe.
