     The East Brunswick Lions Club annually awards a four-year nursing scholarship to an East Brunswick high school senior. The recipient is given $500 for each of the four years he or she pursues a nursing degree.

     St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Tenn., will sponsor its local Miracle Mile Walk-a-thon on May 21 at Crystal Springs Family Aquatic Center, Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick. Registration for the 3-mile walk will begin at 8 a.m.

     The annual Spring International Film Festival at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center, will continue on May 10 with 1:30 and 8 p.m. screenings of the German political comedy “Goodbye, Lenin!” The R-rated movie will be shown in German with English subtitles.
