All women golfers interested in the Tamarack Women’s Golf Association’s 18-hole group are invited to attend the opening meeting of the TWGA, scheduled for Tuesday, April 5, at 9:30 a.m. at Tamarack Golf Course, Hardenburg Lane, East Brunswick. Refreshments will be served. Opening day of play will be Tuesday, April 12. For all interested golfers, applications are now being accepted for membership into the 18-hole group. For more information call Terry, membership chair at (732) 545-5360 or e-mail Meryl, club president, at mabram32@aol.com

UK Elite Soccer and East Brunswick Recreation Soccer announce a Petite Soccer Program for 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds will be held at the fairgrounds on April 20. For more information and to register online, visit www.ukelite.com or call (973) 631-9802.

The Monroe Wolverines 2005 Flag Football and Cheer registration night will be April 7, 7-9 p.m., at the Monroe Community Center. The league is for ages 5 and 6, and the fees are $60, plus a $60 work bond.

Parents must bring two checks made out to the Monroe Wolverines — one for registration and one for the work bond; the child’s original birth certificate (a copy will be made at the Community Center); a recent photo of the participant; and a doctor’s note, dated after 1/1/05, signed and stamped.

The work bond requirements are four hours of service during the season, fund-raising moneys turned in (fund raising is not optional), and all equipment must be returned in at the end of the season.

Failure to comply with any of these requirements will result in forfeiture of the work bond. For more information, call Joe Martucci at (732) 521-4782.
