Hadassah will present talk on breast health
Practitioners from the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, New Brunswick, will discuss what Jewish women need to know about genetics and breast health in an East Brunswick Hadassah program set for 7:45 p.m. on March 7 at Young Israel of East Brunswick, Dunhams Corner Road. The Friends of the Monroe Township Library will sponsor its annual book sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 16, 1-4 p.m. on April 17, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 18-21, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 22 at the library, 4 Municipal Plaza. Preview Day is April 16, when a $1 donation will allow first pick of the offerings. Donations of clean, gently used recent fiction, nonfiction, hardcovers, paperbacks and media are now being accepted. Items should be put in bags or cartons marked “Friends Book Sale” and left at the side delivery door of the library or brought inside during regular operating hours. Magazines, guidebooks, encyclopedia and textbooks will not be accepted. Items for donation should not be put in the library book returns. For more information, call (732) 521-5000.
