Jon Caspi will appear in acoustic rock concert The Old Bridge Public Library, Route 516 and Cottrell Road, will present singer/songwriter Jon Caspi in an acoustic rock concert at 1 p.m. on June 5. Caspi, a native of New Jersey, has long been a presence on the alternative, college radio rock scene, fronting and penning the tunes for such acts as Bouncing Off Bob and Boss Gremlin. His songs and style are rooted in the American rock tradition of Bruce Springsteen, Counting Crows, Goo Goo Dolls and Third Eye Blind. Based in Keyport, Caspi is recording a CD that is due for release in the near future. Admission to the concert is free of charge. Registration is not required. The public is welcome.
