Ryan Jones, son of Donna and Frank Jones of South River, recently was honored as a Dana Scholar at the annual awards ceremony at Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, Pa., where he is a sophomore. The Dana Scholars Program, made possible by the Charles A. Dana Foundation, gives recognition to students demonstrating academic promise, character and leadership potential. Jones is a 2001 graduate of South River High School.
Michael Robert Ochsner of Monroe has been awarded a doctor of veterinary medicine from Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas.
Aaron Kimmel, son of Jane and Paul Kimmel of East Brunswick, recently was honored as a John Kershner Scholar at the annual Awards Day ceremony at Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, Pa., where he is a junior majoring in mathematics. The Kershner Scholar designation is awarded to students in good standing for proficiency in the college’s department of mathematics. Kimmel also was recognized as a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon mathematics honor society. He is a 2001 graduate of East Brunswick High School.
Amy Stanislowski of East Brunswick was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at the University of Rhode Island, Kingston.
Andrew John "A.J." Lukjanczuk, son of Anna and John Lukjanczuk of Milltown, recently received a master of education degree in health and physical education, with a concentration in sports administration, from Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, La. A 1998 graduate of Bishop George Ahr High School, Edison, he earned a bachelor of science degree, with a concentration in sports medicine/athletic training from Elon University, Elon, N.C., in 2002. Lukjanczuk has accepted a full-season position as an athletic trainer with the New York Jets.
Alison Ann Lukjanczuk, daughter of Anna and John Lukjanczuk of Milltown, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, Pa., where she is majoring in medical imaging. She is a 2002 graduate of Spotswood High School.
Tracy V. Asch of Spotswood was named the dean’s list for the spring semester at The College of New Jersey, Ewing, where she recently completed her junior year as a pre-elementary education/psychology major. She also was inducted into the Psi Chi psychology honor society and the Kappa Delta Pi education honor society. She is a 2001 graduate of Monroe Township High School.
Rebecca Ann Julis of East Brunswick has been awarded a bachelor of science degree from the School of Consumer and Family Sciences at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind.
Kelly Miller of South River recently graduated from Lycoming College, Williamsport, Pa., where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature, cum laude.
