The Arc Walk 2004
scheduled for May 16

Step Up for The Arc Walk 2004, to benefit individuals with developmental disabilities, will begin at 9 a.m. on May 16 in Roosevelt Park, Edison. The family event is sponsored by The Arc of Middlesex in conjunction with The Arc of New Jersey and all local county chapters of The Arc.

Breakfast and lunch will be served to all walkers and volunteers. WCTC 1450 radio will provide music and games. Door prizes will be awarded. There will be appearances by Sparky the Fire Dog and a clown. The Middlesex County Sheriff’s Department will offer children’s fingerprinting and coloring books.

The Arc of New Jersey and its local county chapters make up a large nonprofit advocacy and service organization supporting individuals with mental retardation and their families in all 21 counties throughout New Jersey.

The Arc of Middlesex provides group homes; supported employment; family support; supported living, respite and recreation services; and an assortment of other services including parent support groups.
