Science programs at library July 29, Aug. 15

Monroe Township Library, 4 Municipal Plaza, will present "Rock Hound 101" for teenagers and preteens July 29 at 3 p.m. "Static is More Than What You Get From Your Parents" will be held Aug. 15, also at 3 p.m.

A scrapbooking class for children age 9 and older will be offered Thursdays, July 10-Aug. 14, at 7 p.m. Attendees should bring pictures to use in each class. "Read and Grow" for young adults is now under way and will end Aug. 22. Participants who register will be able to redeem "greenbacks" earned for reading time for books and other items.

"Teen Crafternoons" for teens and preteens will continue July 22 at 3:30 p.m. with a project on decorated picture frames. A program on "punk purses" will be held July 31 at 2:30 p.m., and participants will create an iridescent box Aug. 12 at 2:30 p.m.
