South River Girl Scouts plan July 12 car wash

South River Girl Scouts will hold a car wash from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 12 at Elks Lodge No. 2033, 205 Main St., South River.

A bake sale will take place during the event. Cost is $5 for cars, $7 for vans. Proceeds will go toward a Girl Scout trip to Italy planned for summer 2004.
