Business Briefs Bethany Rocque-Romaine of Old Bridge, an attorney with a private practice in Milltown and Staten Island, N.Y., recently was appointed to the position of director of public and alumni relations for Cook College and the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station (NJAES), Rutgers University, New Brunswick. As director of public and alumni relations, Rocque-Romaine is responsible for the Office of Public and Alumni Relations (OPAR). OPAR provides support to the executive dean and the college in areas related to legislative affairs; Washington, D.C. relations; internal and external communications; institutional marketing, media and public relations; alumni relations; and board relations. She is a Cook alumnus, a past Cook College/College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES) Alumni Association president and a university alumnae trustee. While serving on the Rutgers University board of trustees for the past seven years, Rocque-Romaine also has been active with the Rutgers Foundation’s Women and Philanthropy board. Prior to her appointment as trustee, she served as an alumni representative to the Rutgers University Alumni Federation from 1988-1989, and as president, vice president, secretary and continuous executive board member of the Cook/CAES College Alumni Association. Her community service activities include serving as immediate past president of the Old Bridge/Sayreville Rotary Club, a member of the New Jersey Women’s Political Caucus and as a trustee for the Old Bridge Education Association. Weichert’s E.B. office recognizes achievers Several sales associates in the Weichert, Realtors’ East Brunswick office have been recognized for achieving goals in the month of December. Donna Warters won Elite Club status in December. To earn membership for the month, associates must reach $1 million in sales. Eight associates earned membership in the 500 Club for reaching $500,000 in sales in the month.
