East Brunswick family is grateful for help, prayers, concern

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who reached out to us when our son, Doug, had his bike accident on Memorial Day.

Thank you to all our friends and family for tremendous support; to all who made countless phone calls wanting to help in any way; to those who cooked meals for us; to our parish, St. Bartholomew’s, East Brunswick, and to its clergy, staff and Knights of Columbus Council whose visits and prayers helped us through; to Doug’s teacher, friends and classmates for their help and concern; and to all those who took time to send numerous cards, bring gifts or just visit. We thank you all.

We would be remiss if we did not thank the emergency room staff at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick, and the trauma unit and pediatric intensive care center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, for working cooperatively and giving Doug the best possible care.

If we have overlooked anyone, we apologize to every single person who has touched us in their way. We are very grateful to you all.
